Yesterday news broke that Amazon was going to offer the Final Fantasy XIII Xbox 360 250GB bundle with a copy of BioShock 2 and UFC Undisputed 2010 for $300 as a one-day-only sale. Today, we see some potential movement on the Best Buy front ( thanks to Joystiq ), where the retailer will put a permanent price drop of $300 in place for both the Final Fantasy XIII and the Splinter Cell: Conviction 250GB Xbox 360 bundles. This should apply to both in-store and online purchases.
Granted, these are the older models of the console and not the new hotness released in June. However, if saving money is more important than the latest and greatest tech, then this is one opportunity you don’t want to pass up. Especially the Amazon deal. More importantly, this is indicates a strong push to dump the existing stock so the retailers will be ready for the new Kinect bundles coming in November. Odds are, we’ll see a new Holiday Bundle as well.
