It came up as a surprise to us when Microsoft announced that Turn10’s Forza Motorsport 2 was getting the Platinum Hit treatment. Then on August 19, the two-disc version of the game, featuring all downloadable cars and tracks, was shipping to North American retailers for a mere twenty bucks.

For those who haven’t bought the game yet, it’s a very, very good deal!

What’s Microsoft doing for those who shed up to 60$ for the game when it was released? Apparently nothing!

A week and a half after the release of the Platinum Hit version, Microsoft still charging the full price of all downloadable cars and tracks on the Xbox Live Marketplace...

If you’re a Forza 2 fan, let us know for how much you want those cars and tracks...obviously, FREE comes to mind. What do you think?

Unfortunately, it’s because of this that I’ve missed out on some of the bigger titles over the past few years. (CoD4, anyone?). Buying used games, ordering online from sites like Amazon or Ebay, is a simple way to avoid high pricing, (at least until you factor in...
