Aerosmith Would Launch New Tracks Through "Guitar Hero"

In a interview with music website Spinner.com, Aerosmith’s guitarist Joe Perry said that songs from their new album may make their way into their game Guitar Hero: Aerosmith.

"We’ll probably release some of the music from our new record as a download so kids can plug it in and play some new tunes on the game," Perry says.

Aerosmith is expected to start recording their new album by the end of the month.

After seeing Mötley Crüe promoting their "Saints of Los Angeles" single over Rock Band and Metallica doing the same for their latest album on Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, no wonder more groups will be using this new promoting method. Now, if they could only release the missing good tracks (read review) as DLC instead of new content, I would be happier...much happier.
