As a first round of downlodable content, Firaxis will be releasing new content for Civilization Revolution on the Xbox 360 Marketplace and PlayStation Network this Friday. A free single-player map pack and a paid DLC scenario pack have been confirmed.
The Brave New Worlds single-player pack is a free set of four maps each with their own unique terrain. "Mazeworld," "Chokepoint," "Donutworld," and "Checkerboard" all take the shapes their names imply, making for some unorthodox territories to conquer.
The Victory Pack, a paid download retailing for 100 MS Points ($1.25) or $1.25 on the PlayStation Network, offers three single-player scenarios: "Enlightenment," a fight for a cultural victory, "Hyper Drive," a high-speed space race, and "Gold Rush," a race for the most money.
