Soulcalibur IV Darth and Yoda will switch platforms

Surprise, surprise, surprise... Darth Vader from the PS3 version of SCIV and Yoda from the Xbox 360 will be jumping to the other platform if you want to fork over 5 bucks. This is outrageous because the long running rumors of each version having both characters already on their respective discs. So you will pay for a simple unlock code if the rumors are true.

I guess when the actual characters are launched we will see if the DL size are small or large.  But even if they are full sized downloads, $5.00 for a character? Now that is a complete rip-off of rip-offs... from the days of buying guns in the Godfather game, which was a download code as well.

If this trend starts up again with overpriced downloadable content that is already on the game disc, it will be time for the gaming public to fight back by not buying games.
