Sequels to Dead Space, Army of Two & Bad Company Planned
Gibeau spills the beans
In an interview with Variety, EA Games president Frank Gibeau and Dead Space executive producer Glenn Schofield have revealed that Dead Space, Army of Two and Battlefield: Bad Company will have sequels.
Are we surprised? Not that much, that’s the direct result of creating new and compelling IP’s. It will be interesting to see how these franchises will evolve and if EA is still working on developing new franchises. Remember, EA’s is releasing another original IP next month (Mirror’s Edge) and it has already been confirmed as a trilogy. So yes, EA is working hard to change his image of industry bad boy and that’s good.

Having only played a few hours of Dead Space, I'm extremely happy about this, to be honest. There are so many good things, and if EA works out a few of the minor complaints I have with the game so far, they'll kill all the warm fuzzies I have for my Fatal Frame games and claim them for their own.
