After the success of DiRT , the new racing game from developer Codemasters GRID is gaining a lot of attention lately from the media and racing fans all over the world. With rumors of a possible demo hitting the European PS Network next month, we’ve learned today that a media press event will be held by Codemasters in Birmingham, England on May 16th.
Challenging players to become the number one race driver in a new world of exhilarating motorsport, GRID takes players on a tour like never before; to beautifully realised racing locations through Europe, the U.S., Japan and beyond. Powered by the DiRT engine, the game will feature the most extensive range of events in the series, combining official circuit-based championships with road races and urban street competitions. Players will also be able to buy and sell performance vehicles from a vast marketplace powered by the new eBay Motors Marketplace . The game will hit North American store shelves on June 3rd for the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS and PC.
