The folks at 1UP received their retail copy of the Awakening , the pricey expansion pack for Bioware’s Dragon Age: Origins . In it they found an innocuous insert that showed the Dragon Age logo with a date: 02/01/2011. EA’s quarterly financial report last month already indicated that a new Dragon Age product would launch during the 1st Q of 2011. So would this be the day we see a true sequel? Or will it be another hefty expansion? Maybe something else entirely set in the DA:O universe? One thing’s for sure: If they’re giving us a release date, it shouldn’t be too long before we find out exactly what it’ll be.
