First Paid DLC For Mass Effect 2 This April

The first paid downloadable content for Mass Effect 2 is due for release April 6 on the Xbox 360 and PC. The DLC pack is called Kasumi’s Stolen Memory , and includes a new character, an hour and a half of new gameplay, a new weapon, and a new achievement. The new character, Kasumi, is a stealthy female thief who you have to aid in a secretive recovery mission.     Kasumi will be located in the Citadel and the mission can either be triggered during the game, or after completion. The new weapon is a sub-machine gun known as the Locust. The price of the DLC is yet to be determined.   Kasumi has been the subject of many rumours and much debate over the past few months. Some players claimed they discovered the character at GamesCom back in August where they gained access to a debug menu. Since then, Bioware had confirmed the existence of the character and only recently announced when she would be available.
