
Quebec City-based video game studio Beenox (Activision) announced that the company is currently recruiting Guitar Hero players to work on the highly acclaimed franchise. Beenox is also taking application through its website . Guitar Hero has known unprecedented international success since its launch, selling in excess of 16 million units worldwide, according to The NPD Group, Charttrack and GfK Group. Additionally, Guitar Hero was the #1 best-selling franchise in North America for calendar 2007 and the most recent release, Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, was the #1 title across all platforms in both units and dollars, according to The NPD Group. To assist with recruiting efforts, Beenox will be hosting a special event at the Ozone Ste-Foy bar, on Wednesday, May 21 from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm. Beenox is looking for Guitar Hero players to work on an upcoming project. Players will be asked to demonstrate their skills and job interviews will be conducted on site. Ozone Ste-Foy bar is located at 2810, boulevard Laurier.
