Yesterday brought information leaked out about the release date of MGS5, while today Konami got to announce their own editions of the upcoming installment to their tactial espionage action series.  The Big Boss will be coming in Day One and Collector's Editions.  The Collector's Edition will be available for Xbox One and PS4 only.

Sony unveiled all things Metal Gear Solid 5 today for their PlayStation 4 platform.  Alongside of the already leaked release date, details were also released about the Day One and Collector's Editions of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain.  For a fan of the series like me, this news would have been great.  After Japan announced their region specific Special Edition PS4 - I'm left bitter!

Sony Reports Over 20 Million PlayStation 4's Sold

And the sales are still going...going...strong!  Sony made an annoucement today, revealing that it has sold over 20.2 million PlayStation 4's worldwide.  Back in early January, which was the last sales update we had, PS4 had punched in 18.5 million consoles sold. Read more...

Last night as the clock ticked down to the midnight release of the highly anticipated 4v1 monster hunting extravaganza known as Evolve, Xbox and EB Games threw a launch party in Toronto to celebrate the game's imminent release.  Attendees stepped off the sixth floor elevator and were instantly greeted with some thick foliage and monster footprints.  It appeared that the downtown loft space had been magically transformed to the planet Shear, complete with staff decked out in garb ready for some big game hunting.  Ammon belts, camo and other accessories straight from Ted Nugent's closet were the threads and animal skulls, furs and weaponry adorned the walls.
