For those of you out there who are looking for a gaming mouse, you may want to consider all your options with the plethora of products available on the market today. Here at Game Focus, we had the chance to get a lot of hands-on time with Razer’s Ouroboros gaming mouse and we’re happy to report that there’s a lot to like about it.

There’s many things that separate a gaming mouse from your traditional cheap alternative. First of all, a good gaming mouse will offer you a ton of precision and reliability, something necessary for a good gaming experience. Cut outs, precision issues and interference problems are all out of the question here. The Ouroboros gives us exactly what we’ve come to expect from Razer in this department. Not only is the response time absolutely perfect, but the mouse offers impressive range which makes it certain to fit in your setup. It also boasts an impressive battery life and a stylish charging dock. If you do happen to run out of battery, though, you can always plug in the mouse directly, which stops all transmission and allows you to charge your Ouroboros while using it.

In terms of features, the Ouroboros is fully-equipped. Removable elements allow it to perfectly fit in both of your hands, and comfortably so. On top of that, these removable parts allow for more customization options than most traditional equipment. The mouse also allows for full button mapping abilities, as well as an extra set of buttons which can be extremely useful for certain games. The optional attachable fins that come with the package also bring more stability to the mouse while giving you a perfect place to rest your fingers on each side of the device. Its dual sensors allow for the previously mentioned remarkable precision.

With a stylish look, plenty of customization options as well as impressive precision and features, the Ouroboros ends up being a steal at its retail price of 129.99. At this price, it’s certainly a small premium to pay in order to get the best gaming experience on your PC.
