It looks like the two reigning zombie franchises are coming together in a special way this Spring! Both Valve And Capcom have announced their partnership to bring us downloadable cross-over content for Resident Evil 6 and Left 4 Dead 2 on PC. Resident Evil 6 players will be able to choose from the L4D2 characters Coach, Rochelle, Ellis, or Nick with their own special loadouts. These characters will only be playable in Mercenaries’ No Mercy mode and will be completely free on April 5th.

As for Left 4 Dead 2 players, you get quite the opposite: Resident Evil 6’s enemies! The enemies are Lepotitsa, Ogroman, and Napad and will once again be free of charge. No specific release date for this Left 4 Dead 2 content has been announced, but it is also currently confirmed for Spring as well. Additionally, no word for the content on consoles has been said. So zombie lovers, will you be enjoying one or both of these new features?
