Big announcement for Ubisoft today as the French firm confirmed the upcoming release of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. Currently in development at Ubisoft’s Paris studio, the new Ghost Recon game is scheduled to be released worldwide Holiday 2010.

According to the press release issues by Ubisoft, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will feature cutting-edge technology, prototype high-tech weaponry, and state-of-the-art single-player and multiplayer modes.
We’ve also learned that gamers will have the chance to see the game in action via a Multiplayer Beta this Summer. The invitation will be available for a limited time to those who purchase Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction for the Xbox 360, which releases on 16 April 2010.
