Who is Phoenix Team you might ask yourself? Phoenix game studio is a small studio whose motto is "Play it, love it, create it". The Studio is located in the city of Nis in south Serbia. The team was born during the college days. All of the three members possess knowledge in: programming, modeling and animation. They are very ambitious and they want to push their talent to the limits. This is the first official game but not the last.

Phoenix team proudly presents their first game title, which is full of adrenaline excitement. You are in the role of a robot who was sent into virtual reality. Yes….. this game looks fast, really fast! It is a 3D arcade game with a 3rd person perspective. T.E.C. 3001 is developed for the XBox 360 console and it will be released on XBox live. The game is in its final stage and currently being tested. The goal of the game is to collect left-overs of the energy for human kind. To complete the levels you will need a keen eye, quick reflexes and most of all persistence.

When Handling the robot, it is based on three commands: jump, slide, charge. Also there are features like: Lunching pads, breakable objects and skydiving. The graphics are stunning and has a Tron-ish look. Also one of the features is the possibility of changing themes: the user can adjust the color of the environment. At the end of each level there are interesting statistics with funny ranks.

In the game There are 21 levels. If you don’t make any mistakes, 1-2 minutes is enough to pass each one. Some later levels require a lot of attempts.

Why I Haven't Committed to Buying Digital Games

Why I Haven't Committed to Buying Digital Games

Let’s face it: buying digital games is significantly more convenient than buying from a retail store. You don’t have to put pants on to go outside, nor do you even have to go outside. You don’t have to drive to the store, nor do you have to wait in line at said store. On top of that, the price is generally the exact same, if not more for the physical version.

Let’s face it: staying in just your underwear, FTW.

Despite the overwhelming advantages of buying digital, I still can’t fully commit to it. While I understand I am more in the minority with each day that goes by, I truly believe I have a legitimate case about buying physical copies of games.

PlayStation VR is Everything I Hoped For (and More!)

In some sort of cosmic twist, I have seen the future. No, I didn’t find out where/when/why I’ll die, nor did I even find out what I’ll have for breakfast tomorrow (I hope it’s pancakes). But I assure you, I have seen the future.

The future of video games that is. I recently got to test out Morpheus - uh, I mean PlayStation VR - Sony’s answer to the ever-growing interest in virtual reality. Although the headset is currently far from completion, it’s also far from shotty.
